(Ni1-x-yCuxMgyO Anode for Internal Steam Reforming in Intermediate Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells)
Monrudee obtained her Bachelor in Industrial Chemistry from King Mongut Institute of Technology North Bangkok and her Master in Chemical Engineering at Kasetsart University, both in Thailand. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Waterloo, Chemical Engineering Department, where she is working on the developing of alternative anode for intermediate temperature anodes for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell in order to prevent C-deposition when CH4 is fed. She has also spent 10 months in the SOFC research group, led by Mr. Yoo, at the National Research Council in Ottawa.

Manzi's work on SOFC focuses on kinetic study of internal methane reforming in intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cell. The two main objectives of this research work are to determine kinetic parameters of steam reforming of methane on Ni and Ni/Cu alloy based intermediate temperature SOFC, and to investigate and develop anode materials that minimize carbon deposition while maintaining good reforming activity. This research consists of both experimental and modeling studies.
